Keep the race fair.

Using TypeDash

These terms describe the rules for using TypeDash. By using the game, you agree to follow them. TypeDash continues to evolve; features, passages and availability may change.

Fair play and respect

Type the passage yourself. Do not use scripts, automated input or exploits to fabricate race results. Do not interfere with the service, evade limits or access another player’s private data.

Choose a name that is appropriate for other players. Do not impersonate someone, use hateful or harassing names, or publish another person’s private information. We may remove inappropriate public content, exclude invalid results or restrict abusive use.

Names, results and sharing

You are responsible for the name and links you choose to share. Creating a shared link permits TypeDash to display its selected public information and preview to people who open it. Public leaderboard participation is optional. Race Points leaderboard entries are visible by default under a gameplay name; you can hide your entry at any time. When you finish a qualifying Daily Dash run, your best result for that day and input method appears on the public Daily Dash leaderboard under your racer name unless you choose Hide. Sharing a score does not verify anyone’s identity.

Recorded ghost challenges replay a completed run. Leaderboards are casual rankings; no cash prizes or rewards are promised. Keyboard and touch results are kept separate.

Custom passages

Submit only original text or text you have permission to use. Do not submit hateful or harassing content, copied passages without permission, secrets or anyone’s private information. By locking in a custom passage, you permit TypeDash to store and display it for the game; when you share a challenge, people with that link can read and forward it. You retain your rights to your text. We may remove or block inappropriate passages and their challenges. Report concerns to team@typedash.com. See Privacy for retention and removal details.

Your history and access

Guest history is tied to this browser’s game cookie. We cannot promise recovery after it is lost unless you saved it to an optional account. Keep access to the email, Google or X account you sign in with; TypeDash cannot restore an account through any other means. Use Save progress only on your own browser. Replays and links expire, and the service may be interrupted. See Privacy for what is saved and how to delete or revoke it.

Game content and changes

Playing TypeDash does not transfer ownership of its software, artwork or branding. You are welcome to share your results and gameplay captures. Third-party materials remain subject to their applicable licenses.

We may update these terms as the game develops and will change the date on this page. Nothing here limits rights you have under applicable law.
